Biography
Alyssa Milano was born on December 19th 1972. She is a Sagittarian and displays the sweeter side of that fiery sun sign. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island, she began her acting career at the young age of eight. At age ten she landed the role of Tony Danza's daughter in the long running hit Who's the Boss which also stared Judith Light. Her entire family re-located from NY to LA so that she could take the part as Samantha Micelli.
Her next hit came with Charmed although she appeared on Melrose Place for some time. Charmed made its debut on the WB network in 1988. It was be the longest running all-female casted show in history in May of 2006. Milano was preceded in her role of Phoebe by Lori Rom before the airing of the first episode. This episode was re-shot to include Alyssa in her place. The shows last few seasons were all produced by Milano, Holly Combs and Rose McGowan. The shows final episode aired on May 21st 2006.
Alyssa is very musical and plays both the flute and the piano. She is very involved in charity work and is an ambassador for UNICEF. She has also entertained US sailors in a USO show on the USS Nimitz in 2003. She took a much anticipated trip to India for a month in 2005 to take some time to fulfill her role as UNICEF ambassador and visit that country.
She was briefly married to, Cinjun Tate, the lead singer for the rock group, Remy Zero. She has also been romantically connected to Justin Timberlake, Brian Krause, Josh Saumbough, Jimmy Federico, Eric Danes and Carl Pavano.
Alyssa has a total of seven tattoos and has been quoted as saying that her parents swear to disown her every time she gets a new one. A fairy, a Sacred Heart, the sign OM and an angel are just a few of her current tattoos.
