Biography
Kelly Taylor was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Her mother encouraged her interest in entertainment and gave Kelly the confidence to participate in school talent shows. During this time she honed her skills in singing, acting and dancing. Her direction changed when she was nine years old and her mother was diagnosed with cancer. The long illness left the family in financial dire straights and many difficult times followed for Kelly and her family. When Kelly was fifteen her mother died of her long illness and Kelly had to concentrate on helping her family financially and decided to focus on her studies rather than entertaining.
Even though things were still difficult Kelly sought solice in spirituality and this new found faith led her to a successful career as an Account Executive. After some time she decided to get back into her first love, entertainment, and she started doing TV commercials and local community plays. She was soon cast in a TV Series, through which her singing talent was discovered. She was given a contract with a well known Italian recording label, but she refused it wanting to pursue major motion picture acting.
As is the case with most aspiring actresses and actors, Kelly moved to Hollywood California to pursue her acting ambitions. She decided to focus on Indie films and has had great success in that genre of filmmaking. She has become quite well known in the Chinese TV market and has landed several contracts to provide print, radio, and TV commercials for a handful of well known Chinese companies.
