Biography
Tara Reid was born on November 8, 1975 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Her family moved to New York City when she began acting. Her parents are of Irish, British, French and Italian decent. She began her acting career when she was six years old on a TV game show called Child's Play. She did several commercials for large companies following the game show, and she later moved on to other small roles and finally major motion pictures. She attended the Professional Children's School with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Macaulay Culkin. She moved to L.A. when she turned eighteen and soon landed a role in the soap opera Days of Our Lives.
In 1998 she had a role in The Big Lebowski as Lebowski's (Jeff Bridges) wife Bunny. This movie was critically acclaimed and had a huge cult fan base. Later she starred in many popular major movies including, Urban Legends, Cruel Intentions, American Pie, Dr. T and the Women, Josie and the Pussycats and American Pie II, these being the most notable. She has several movies due out in the coming years.
Reid is as notorious for her party lifestyle as she is for her movie career. She is a favorite of the tabloid media who often exaggerates her every move. She is often photographed with another notorious party girl, Paris Hilton. In 2004 she attended a birthday party for Sean Combs and was photographed frantically when her dress slipped off her shoulder exposing her breast. Reid was engaged to MTV VJ and host, Carson Daly, in October 2000, by July 2001 the pair announced they had split up before a walk down the asile.
