Biography
Jodie Marsh was born on December 23, 1978 in Brentwood, England. Her father was a successful businessman and her family was considered affluent. She has one brother named Jordan, which is considered ironic since she is notorious for getting into heated verbal battles with model Jordan a/k/a Katie Price. Jodie studied at Brentwood School in Essex. She was harassed and bullied so much by other students that she often considered suicide as a means of escape from the antagonists. Despite her difficulties at school she graduated with nine GCSE's (or all A and B grades). At age fifteen she had nose surgery to make it smaller.
Glamour and Page Three model Jordan and Jodie Marsh have an on-going rivilry, which is a favorite topic of tabloid "news" stories. The pair's constant insulting banter is very famous in the United Kingdom. Jordan has said that Marsh's nose reminds her of "a builder's elbow," while Marsh has retorted with likening Jordan's nose to that of a "hooked witch's." Additionally, she is known for her high profile relationships including those with Fran Cosgrave, Calum Best, Frank Dobson, Kian Egan and James McKenzie. Marsh has appeared in several UK TV series and reality shows and has been a topless model for many years. She also writes a weekly column for Sneak Magazine, a celeb gossip tabloid. Many of her comments have led to anger in the celebrity community and accusations of bullying. Ironically, she is a staunch supporter of Beat Bullying an organization which seeks to eliminate savage harassment in schools and communities.
Her autobiography, Keeping It Real, was published in 2005 by Metro Books in London. She is a vegetarian and supports PETA and many other charitable organizations including: Refuge, RNIB, Fight For Life, and, as mentioned, Beat Bullying.
