Biography
Patricia Ford is a American model and actress. She is of Chinese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, German, and Irish ancestry. She is best known for her work with the Playboy magazine.
Patricia Ford was born on March 17, 1969, in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up there. It was a teen pageant that set off her modeling career. She was spotted by Japanese modeling scouts and offered a modeling contract in Japan. She started modeling at the young age of 15.
In 1985, Patricia made her television debut with the long-running soap Coronation Street (Since 1960). In 1986, she made her film debut as a telephone operator in Biggles. However, she wasn't much successful as an actress.
In 1988, Patricia won the Bikini Open for the first time and went on to win it in 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1995. There was no doubt as to the appeal of her body in a swimsuit. Modeling offers in Swimwear Illustrated were bound to pour in. Her pictures appeared for the first time in the magazine in 1991 and continued to appear till 1995. She appeared in the Bikini Open videos, as well as 1990's The Hawaiian Swimsuit Edition. But it was while modeling for Playboy that Patricia Ford gained more exposure and became famous. It was in 1993 that Patricia first appeared in a Playboy magazine. It was the March issue of the Special Edition of Playboy's Book of Lingerie. She went on to appear in 12 issues of Playboy's Book of Lingerie, from January 1993 to June 1996, as well as the 50th Issue Anniversary Special. She was chosen Playboy's 1996 Book of Lingerie Model. Despite appearing in numerous issues of the Playboy magazine, she has never won the title of Playboy Playmate.
In 1995, Patricia also came to be known for her erotic photo shoots with photographer Suze Randall. She was credited as Brandi in these pictures that were featured in many adult magazines including High Society, Club International, Australian Penthouse, Swank, Just Eighteen, and Club Magazine.
Patricia has also been featured in calendars including 1992 Hawaii's Hardbodies Calendar, 1992 Island Muscle Cars Calendar, 1993 Hawaii's Beautiful Women Calendar, 1994 Patricia Ford Calendar, 1995s Bikini Open Calendar, 1995 Surfing Magazine Calendar, 1995 Lace Calendar, 1996 Women of Summer Calendar; 1997 Patricia Ford Calendar, and 1997 East Meets West Calendar by Jade Unlimited.
After establishing herself as a popular sex symbol, Patricia forayed into softcore B-movies such as Sweet by Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt as well as Descending Venus (1997).
Patricia also appeared on television in Raven, Birds of Paradise, One West Waikiki, Extra, and Entertainment Tonight.
Patricia stopped modeling in her thirties. However, the Internet has helped her stay as beautiful and sexy as ever.
