Biography
Abi Titmuss is a British model and television presenter. She became famous in 2002 when a home video of her having sex with her then-boyfriend and another woman was posted on the Internet.
Abigail Titmuss was born on September 8, 1976 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. She went to school in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. She was working as a nurse before she became famous.
Abi got her first break in the showbiz world in 2002 through her then boyfriend, John Leslie, a television presenter. When John Leslie was constantly in the press for allegedly raping a woman, Abi stood by him. Abi caught the eye of tabloids for her great looks. For her candidness and looks, she was offered a job as a presenter on Richard & Judy. She left her nursing job and entered the showbiz world.
Her luck did not last long. Abi lost the job when the home sex tape involving John Leslie, Abi Titmuss, and another woman was published on the Internet. Abi did not give up though. She made use of this publicity and exposure to get a job as a presenter on the pornographic channel Television X in February 2004.
In 2004, Abi was also seen on the television series Hell's Kitchen training as a chef. In 2005, she was seen on Channel 4's The Friday Night Project acting as a regular guest. She also participated in the reality show Celebrity Love Island on ITV, and was the runner-up on the show. She apparently helped herself liberally to the various courses of dinners and desserts while filming for the series and put on a lot of weight. She even got a double chin leading the press to nickname her Flabby Abi.
In March 2006, Abi made her West End acting debut in a play by Arthur Miller. She played the role of a prostitute with a multiple personality disorder. Her performance received average reviews.
Ironically, Abi was to be the subject of a play, Being Abi, which was supposed to be performed in her home county of Lincolnshire in May 2006. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after objections were raised about some of its content by parents of two performers in the show.
Abi is a regular feature in the tabloids, men's magazines, and the Internet. She has modeled in numerous British men's magazines including Nuts and For Him Magazine. In 2005, she was ranked number seven in the For Him Magazine list of Sexiest 100 Women 2005. She often stages paparazzi photographs and if the pictures are published, she earns royalties for them.
Abi has also authored and published an erotic book named Ten Fantasies. Abi has explored every medium through which she can capitalize on her assets and undoubtedly she sells.
