Biography
Michelle Marsh is a British fashion model and singer. She is best known for her Page 3 topless modeling in tabloids such as The Sun and the Daily Star.
Michelle Marsh was born on September 30, 1982 in the town of Royton in Oldham, Lancashire, England. From a young age, Michelle was interested in modeling, singing and acting. When she was just four years old, she started modeling with Kids and Co. She was with them till she was six.
When Michelle was 11 years old, she started taking part in local and school productions of musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, and Annie.
In 1998, Michelle won a talent show. She was also a finalist in a BBC Radio One songwriting competition. These achievements gave her the confidence to pursue a career in showbiz and she dropped out of school in 1999 to pursue her dreams. She soon appeared on That's Entertainment, followed by roles on popular British television series such as Brookside, Hollyoaks, and Coronation Street. She also took part in various singing contests and reached the final 30 in women on Popstars.
In 2000, Michelle got her first break when she appeared on the cover of the Daily Star in a bikini. To top it, in The Sun's Miss Cleavage competition in 2001, she was a runner-up. However, this was just the beginning.
In October 2002, Michelle got her big break when she modeled topless for Daily Star. Within six months, she was offered a contract to pose topless in the Page 3 section of The Sun. She was soon seen posing in many commercials, motorcycle shows, and even modeled for the Rugby World Cup.
In 2004, Michelle saw her popularity soar when she started posing with Lucy Pinder, another leading Page 3 model. Following this, she also posed for Playboy and other men's magazines, such as Loaded, Fast Car, SuperBike, Front, Ice, Flux, and NUTS.
Meanwhile, Michelle's singing career also took off and she landed a regular monthly singing job at the Marston Tavern in Royton in 2003. In November 2006, she released her first single I Don't Do It, which reached number 5 in the UK Indie Chart.
On the personal front, Michelle became engaged in 2005 to one of Oldham's footballers, Will Haining. Her parents are quite supportive of her revealing modeling. In fact, her father manages her website.
In 2005, Michelle was ranked 33rd in the For Him Magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005 poll. In 2006, she was ranked 47th in their poll. In 2006, she took part in the reality show, I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! She sure has arrived on the celebrity scene.
