Biography
Samantha Fox is a British singer and former topless model. She is best known for her song Touch Me and her posters.
Samantha Karen Fox was born on 15 April 1966 in Mile End, London to Patrick John Fox and Carole Ann Fox. When Samantha was just three, she appeared on stage. When she was five, she joined the Anna Scher Theatre School. When she was just 10, she appeared in a BBC television play No Way Out. She next joined the Judi Dench Mountview Theatre School. However, it was music that was Samantha's passion. At the age of 14, Samantha formed her band.
Samantha got her big break when her mother took topless photographs of her sixteen year old daughter and sent them to The Sunday People newspaper's "Face and Shape of '83" contest. Though she didn't win, her photographs were published and her popularity got her a modeling contract. She then started appearing in the Page 3 section of The Sun and won the newspaper's Page 3 Girl of the Year award for three years. Her insuring her 36D breasts added to her popularity. But it was music that Samantha wanted to pursue. In 1987, when she was 20, Samantha released her debut album Touch Me with the hit single Touch Me, which made it to UK Top Ten. She soon followed this up with the album Samantha Fox, which included the hits Naughty Girls (Need Love Too), which was a Top 10 hit in Canada and US and Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now that made it to the UK Top 10.
In 1988, Samantha released her third album I Wanna Have Some Fun, which included the hits Next To Me and Love House. In 1991, Samantha released the album Just One Night and the EP Hurt Me, Hurt Me.
Samantha was now an international star and in 1994 was offered a role in an Indian film Rock Dancer. Her other films include The Match (1999).
In 1997, Samantha came up with her album 21st Century Fox, which featured her new image with an alleged breast reduction. The album included the hit singles Wasted Energy, Let Me Be Free, and Santa Maria.
In 2002, Samantha released the album Watching You, Watching Me.
In 2005, Samantha released her album Angel with an Attitude, which included a remake of her first hit Touch Me.
On the personal front, Samantha has been linked to Peter Foster, Paul Stanley and the singer and rhythm guitarist for the band KISS. Samantha has also been linked to her managers, Cris Bonacci and Myra Stratton. Rumors about her being a lesbian first started when she judged a lesbian beauty pageant in 1999. However, it was in 2003 that she admitted to being in love with Myra.
