Biography
Cee-Lo's actual name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1974 and started his music career in his church. He was a member of the group Goodie Mob. When he left, the remainder of the group continued to perform together.
Cee-Lo's solo career didn't start well, his record company dropped him after two albums that didn't sell too well.
After that, he started working together with DJ Danger Mouse. They named the collaboration Gnarls Barkley. Their first album together was St. Elsewhere and was released in 2006.
