Biography Patricia Jude Frances Kensit was born on March 4th, 1968 in Hounslow, London, England in the United Kingdom. Her film debut came as Daisy's daughter, played by Mia Farrow, in the film version of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby. She later went on to attend St. Catherine's School for Girls, in Twickenham, England and later studied at the Italia Conti Academy, a school for the dramatic arts. She also appeared in several children's series during that time. She had the role of Estella on the BBC's version of Great Expectations in 1981. Later she played Eppie in the BBC's version of Silas Marner in 1985. A year later she landed the role of Crepe Suzette in the David Bowie film Absolute Beginners, although the film did not do well in the box-office, it did get her noticed. In 1989 she played Mel Gibson's love interest in Lethal Weapon 2, which was a huge box-office hit. She went on to roles in multiple television and motion picture movies in the 1990's including: Blue Tornado, Timebomb, Bitter Harvest, Tales from the Crypt, Fall From Grace, Dream Man, Angles and Insects, and Tunnel Vision. In the years from 2000 on she most prevalently joined the cast of the UK soap Emmerdale in which she played the role of Sadie King. She left Emmerdale for a role in another popular UK soap Holby City. On the personal front Kensit has a fondness for musicians. She was married to keyboardist Dan Donavan, the couple divorced in 1991. She later married Jim Kerr, the lead singer of Simple Minds in 1992, the couple had one child and divorced in 1996. She married Liam Gallagher the lead singer for Oasis in 1997, the couple had one son before divorcing in 2000. Tidbits
