Biography

Dorothy Faye Dunaway was born on January 14th, 1941 in Bascom, Florida. Her father was a United States Army Sergeant and she moved quite frequently in her childhood. She attended Boston University majoring in theatre and later graduated from the University of Florida. Dunaway is a celebrated actress who has appeared in over sixty films and television shows. She made her film debut in Hurry Sundown in 1967 and later that year went on to Bonnie and Clyde as Bonnie Parker opposite Warren Beatty as Clyde Barrow. The role won her an Oscar nomination.

After her role in the 1967 movie hit Bonnie and Clyde she went on to appear in multiple films including: The Thomas Crown Affair, The Arrangement, Little Big Man, The Three Musketeers, Chinatown, Three Days of the Condor, and Network. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in this last film. She continued to act throughout the eighties and nineties appearing in many high profile films. In Mommie Dearest she gave a chilling performance as actress Joan Crawford in the movie based on a true story written by Crawford's daughter. She also had roles in Barfly, a second version of The Thomas Crown Affair, The Two Jakes, Don Juan DeMarco, The Chamber, The Yards, The Rules of Attraction and Taking Charge. She has several films due out in the coming year and has made guest appearances in the hit televisions series' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Alias.

On the personal front Dunaway was involved with comedian Lenny Bruce and has admitted to living with him for one week. She was also romantically involved with Marcello Mastroianni. In 1974 she married the former lead singer of the J. Geils Band, Peter Wolf; the pair divorced in 1979. She later marred photographer Terry O'Neill in 1984. The couple had one son together, Liam O'Neill. The couple divorced in 1987.
