Biography
Tiffani-Amber Thiessen is an American television and film actress. She is best-known for her roles in the teenage television shows, Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills 90210.
Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was born on January 23, 1974 in Long Beach, CA. As a child also, Tiffani was beautiful and took part in many beauty contests and pageants. In 1987, she won the title of Miss Junior America. The following year in 1988, she won Teen Magazine's Great Model Search. In 1989, she was named Cover Girl magazine's Model of the Year.
With her constant exposure in media, Tiffani had a tough time at her school and left it to join Valley Professional High School, a school for celebrity kids.
In 1989, Tiffani got her first break when she made her television debut with the daytime teen soap opera Saved by the Bell. She played the role of a trendy cheerleader named Kelly Kapowski for four years.
Soon, Tiffani was seen in guest roles on shows like Charles in Charge (1990), Married... with Children (1990), Valerie (1990), Step by Step (1992), and The Powers That Be (1992).
In 1992, Tiffani acted in the television film A Killer Among Friends.
In 1993, TIffani made her big-screen debut as Tracy in the film Son in Law (1993).
Tiffani's next major role was in 1994 as the vixen Valerie Malone in the teen soap on television Beverly Hills 90210. She appeared in a new and sexy avatar with a short hair and big breasts courtesy breast implants. She worked on the series for four years till 1998. Off-screen, Tiffani was living with Brian Austin Green, one of the show's stars.
Meanwhile, Tiffany appeared in many films including The Stranger Beside Me (1995), She Fought Alone (1995), Sweet Dreams (1996), and Buried Secrets (1996).
In 1999, Tiffani appeared in the films Speedway Junky, From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money, and Love Stinks.
In 2000, Tiffani acted in Ivansxtc, a direct to video spoof Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, and the comedy The Ladies Man. She started being credited as just Tiffani Thiessen with the second part of her name dropped.
In 2000, Tiffani also appeared in many episodes of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. It was on its sets that she met actor Richard Ruccolo. They were engaged for two years. However, in 2003, they broke it off.
Tiffani's most famous film role came in 2002 when she was cast as Sharon Bates in Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending.
In 2002, Tiffani started appearing in the series Fastlane that has shades of the films The Fast and the Furious and Miami Vice. The show was canceled after a year.
On July 9, 2005, Tiffani got married to actor Brady Smith.
