Videos more videos Biography Elisha Ann Cuthbert was born on November 30, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She grew up in Greenfield Park close to Montreal. She became fluent in French as that was the predominant language spoken there. She moved to Los Angles, California when she was seventeen. She began modeling in 1989 for children's clothing companies. She also appeared in the popular TV show for children, Are You Afraid of The Dark. She then landed a job as a field journalist for the Canadian television series Popular Mechanics for Kids. She met, then first lady, Hillary Clinton and Clinton was so taken by the young Cuthbert that the young girl was invited to the White House for a visit, which she promptly accepted. Her big break came when she was cast in 24 on the FOX network. She played Kiefer Sutherland's daughter, Kimberly in the series. The show 24 went on to become a huge hit with both fans and critics. Kimberly's character was often in calamitous situations which she had to be rescued from. After 24 she appeared in Old School and then the hit film Love Actually in 2003 and The Girl Next Door in 2004. Girl Next Door was one of her first leading roles. She also stared in House of Wax and The Quiet in 2005. She has several upcoming projects due out in the next several years. Tidbits
