Biography
Nicky Hilton is the co-heiress along with her three siblings to the Hilton hotels (worth hundreds of millions of dollars) founded by her great-grandfather Conrad Hilton. She is famous as a socialite and is also known for being a fashion model and fashion designer. She is also known as the younger sister of Paris Hilton.
Nicholai Olivia Hilton was born on October 5, 1983 in New York City into the super rich Hilton family. Nicky is named after her granduncle Nicholas Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr., who was the first of many husbands of actress Elizabeth Taylor.
Partying runs in the Hilton family. Nicky's mother, Kathy Hilton hosted many parties and the young Nicky and Paris were soon drawn to the elite New York party circuit. While at school, she along with Paris began to frequent the nightclubs and restaurants that are usually the focus of the party section in New York society magazines. They were soon the most talked about girls in town. Glamour magazines such as For Him Magazine, Vanity Fair, and Vogue carried their photo features and interviews. Both of them were profiled in the People magazine. Paris went on to pursue modeling and didn't attend college while Nicky didn't let stardom get to her head.
Nicky attended Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design to study designing. She wanted to create waves in the fashion industry-not by just modeling but by creating fashion accessories.
Nicky's big break as a fashion designer came when she was just 17 years old and was asked to design handbags for Tokyo-based Samantha Thavasa. Along with Paris, Nicky created such great bags that celebrities like Britney Spears, Tara Reid, and Pamela Anderson were won over by them. In 2006, she started her own clothes line, Chick By Nicky Hilton for girls, juniors, and women. Nicky also does modeling. She is signed with Nous Models in L.A. and has walked the ramp for huge designers. She has been the face of Antz Pantz along with friend Kimberly Stewart.
Nicky has appeared in small roles in the films Wishman (1991), Pauly Shore is Dead (2003), and National Lampoons: Pedge This! (2006).
Nicky has been linked romantically to MTV VJ Brian McFayden, male models Mark Vanderloo and Marcus Schenkenberg, Ian Somerhalder from the television series Lost and television series Entourage star Kevin Connolly. In 2004, Nicky Hilton got married to Todd Andrew Meister, a Manhattan money manager in a spontaneous wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. However, the marriage lasted just a few months.
Though not as controversial as her sister Paris, Nicky has definitely emerged as a celebrity in her own right thanks to her crazy partying and talent as a designer.
