G-Unit Radio, Pt. 2: International Ballers
Al Pacino and 50 Cent don't have much in common except deep pockets, and 50's opening claim on G-Unit Radio Vol. 2 that he's going to be "the best fucking bad guy you've seen so far" are a long way removed from Pacino's restaurant tirade in Scarface. Vol. 2 is, however, one of the best examples of a lackluster mixtape. Whoo Kid doesn't bother as much with freestyles over played-out beats in Vol. 2; he instead relies on multiple live recordings where poorly-managed sound boards prove more frustrating than enjoyable. The eerie, Castlevania melody of "Clips" and Lil' Flip's molasses flow on "Get That Money Man" are highlights of Vol. 2.
