Limited special edition features four bonus tracks. 2009 release. Carver City is CKY's first album of new material since 2005's An Answer Can Be Found. Thematically, Carver City is part fantasy, part autobiography. The band concocted the fictional town of Carver City. At its heart, Carver City is a late '70s/early '80s-era seaside resort town, much like a place one band member visited as a child. The song 'The Boardwalk Body' was directly inspired by when police discovered a corpse underneath the boardwalk. But all imagery aside, Carver City is a long-awaited return for CKY fans and is their most emotionally charged and coherent effort yet. With striking art that could be the poster for the latest zombie movie.
