Planet Dance
Paffendorf are the German based duo Gottfried Engels and Ramon Zenker. Forming in 1999, they had success with the singles Smile, Call Me On / Call Me Now, and Terminator, each reaching the Top 50 on the German Sales Chart and Paffendorf going on to earn 'Dance Act of the Year'. In the year 2000 they continued in that vein and made their breakthrough: "Where Are You" went into the top 15, "Everybody Scream", into the top 40. The hit album, "Dance City" placed itself firmly in the top 50 of the album charts. The track "Rhythm And Sex", fitted out with a hard piano line, and the single, "Be Cool", which went to 7 in the UK continue their string of successes. Following the success of "Be Cool" was Paffendorf's new single ""Vogue"", which mashes up Paffendorfs Smasher ""Be Cool"" and Madonna's ""Vogue"".
