The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra (LiMBO), once faced with possible extinction upon the American Idol win of their former leader, Taylor Hicks, has successfully regrouped and recorded their first on-location CD, Live At The Workplay Theatre. Recorded at Workplay on August 7, 2006 in the band's hometown of Birmingham, AL, LiMBO rocked the sold-out venue with their tight delivery of heart-pounding, get-up-and-boogie Southern Rock and funk as well as touching the audience with its classic, sweet soul sounds and rhythm and blues in the form of both covers and originals. As an added treat, both Taylor Hicks and Elliot Yamin dropped in to jam with the band and are featured on Disc 2 of this 2-Disc CD. Standard Jewel Case.
