From a Radio Engine/Infinite Rider
Two CD set featuring a pair of acclaimed solo albums from former Monkees' member Michael Nesmith that have been out of print for years. From A Radio Engine To A Photon Wing (1977), which features the hit 'Rio', sees Nesmith moving away from the Country/Folk sound of his early solo material and embracing a more commercial and contemporary Pop sound. Infinite Riders On The Big Dogma (1979) was the outstanding follow-up and it features classics like 'Flying', 'Magic' and more. Many of the songs off of these albums were featured in Nesmith's groundbreaking Elephant Parts full-length video release. 18 tracks. Edsel Records. 2008.
