ECHO, is the follow up to Leona's debut SPIRIT, which sold over 6 million albums worldwide, earned three Grammy Award nominations and resulted in her becoming the best selling new artist of 2008. In both Canada and the U.S., SPIRIT debuted at #1 on the album chart. It is the first time in music history that any album by a British female artist entered Billboard's Top 200 at #1, as well as the first time any British artist, male or female, has claimed the top spot with a debut album. SPIRIT featured chart-topping singles 'Bleeding Love,' the best selling single of 2008 and the follow-up hit 'Better In Time.' ECHO sees Leona working with superstar talent Ne-Yo, John Shanks, Max Martin and Ryan Tedder, as well as with ew collaborators Xenomania and Julian Bennetta. Clive Davis and Simon Cowell, who teamed up to sign Leona Lewis to a record deal with J Records/Syco Music co-produced the album.
