This release is a celebration of the ground breaking iconic legendary producer, multi-platinum selling, and Grammy award winning artist, Dr. Dre. The original Chronic has stood the test of time since its original release in 1992 and is widely known in the urban community as one of the classic albums in hip hop. This two disc set includes the 16 original classics. The songs have been digitally re-mastered the way Dre intended his fans to hear the songs, plus a DVD (70 minutes plus) containing rare footage, music videos, a short film, TV promos and a Dr. Dre interview. The collector's edition includes never-before-seen photographs of Dre and Snoop by renowned photographer Chi Modu and liner notes from QD3 son of Qunicy Jones and one of hip hop's most acclaimed documentarians and producers. Seven audio bonus tracks from the Chronic era by some of Death Row's finest is available on the bonus DVD.
