2008 archive release containing a Southern-fried Rock 'N' Roll show from Skynyrd, recorded in 1997. Featuring original members, hard-core sidemen, and the great Ronnie Van Zandt's brother Johnny on powerful vocals, Skynyrd brings enormous intensity and virtuosity to their many greatest and best-loved songs. `Sweet Home Alabama,' `What's Your Name,' `That Smell,' and many others - including, of course, a long and moving `Free Bird'- all are not only lovingly re-created but also come alive in new ways, with blistering guitars, guttural singing, and propulsive rhythm.
