From second season (1970-71), Cookie Monster (Frank Oz) reads a poem for Howie the Rabbit (Fran Brill).The Cookie Monster puppet used in second season is my personal favorite. Designed by Jim Henson, built by Don Sahlin, and performed by Frank Oz, it's a real masterwork.I only vaguely remember one other segment featuring the Howie character, in which he was talking about the number 8. Howie ended up leaving in a hurry when Cookie Monster looked like he was getting hungry for rabbit! | |
