Laputa: Castle in the Sky is a film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, released in 1986. It is the first film created and released by Studio Ghibli, although is considered the second by some since Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind was created by the founding members two years before. The name Laputa comes from the name of the floating island in Jonathan Swift's novel Gulliver's Travels. Guitar is half down tuning.
