(played by Leslie Howard) Etudes in Twelve Exercises, S.136, is a set of études written by Franz Liszt in 1826 when he was a teenager. These would developed into the revised Douze Grandes Etudes in 1837, and later the Transcendental Etudes in 1851; the version commonly heard today.
