Syndicated TV ad clip from The Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode titled "Final Performance".Originally aired January 18, 1965: After his car breaks down on his way to L.A., television writer Cliff Allen (Roger Perry) is forced to stay at a small town motel for several days. There he meets an old vaudeville performer, Rudolph (Franchot Tone), who also happens to be the motel's owner. Rudolph hopes to revive his showbiz career with the help of a teenager named Rosie (Sharon Farrell) who he plans to marry and include in his act. Rudolph also promises to show Cliff his "specialty act" during his stay. Afraid of Rudolph, Rosie begs Cliff to take her with him to L.A. to which he later agrees. On his way to pick Rosie up, Cliff runs into Rudolph who explains to him that Rosie has changed her mind and has decided to stay, but Cliff wants to talk to Rosie himself. Later that evening Cliff finds Rosie and Rudolph together and Rosie tells him that she has indeed decided to stay with Rudolph. Unbeknownst to Cliff, he's watching Rudolph's specialty act and Rosie has ultimately ended up a part of it.
