The 45-year-old actor was sentenced yesterday as punishment for failing to file his tax returns. Snipes apologized to his family, the court and the community. Prosecutors say he owes a total of $41 million in taxes. Carmen Electra and her boyfriend guitarist Rob Patterson are making it official. The actress's rep says the pair got engaged last weekend. Patterson apparently proposed while the two were in Las Vegas celebrating her birthday. Sources say he got her a ring with a black diamond set in white diamonds. The rocker and Electra have been dating for less than a year.Rapper Snoop Dogg is now allowed in Britain. A British judge reportedly rejected the government's decision to deny Snoop Dogg a visa to get into the country. The rapper was reportedly involved in a fight in London's Heathrow airport in 2006. The government argued that his presence would be "non-conducive to the public good."Madonna is shining a light on orphans in the African country of Malawi through her new documentary. The pop star premiered her work called "I am Because we are" in New York last night at the Tribeca Film Festival. Madonna is in the process of adopting an orphan from Malawi. She met the boy nearly two years ago while making the film.Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow took to the red carpet last night for the premiere of "Iron Man" in London. The comic book hero adventure is the story of a genius inventor played by Downey who works for the government and creates a suit of armor to fight crime as Iron Man.
