This time we present the story of Charles Keating swindler, anti porn activist and good friend of John Mc Cain. Part one tells the Lincoln Savings story through the intervention of five United States senators including McCain into the investigation on behalf of Keating. True four of those senators are Democrats but only one is running for president this year.Here's a couple of additional nuggets provided by Matt Welch of Reason magazine. Charles Keating provided 1/3 the money used by John McCain in his first election. The bailout of Lincoln Savings cost taxpayers 3 billion dollars.
