 | John Terry Snubbed By wayne Bridge John Terry was publicly humiliated yesterday when Wayne Bridge carried out his promise to snub the disgraced former England captain. Bridge, enraged by Terry's affair with his ex-girlfriend, refused to shake his hand as Chelsea lined up against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. The dramatic moment was caught live on TV cameras and broadcast to millions of viewers around the globe. Terry then suffered the further ignominy of seeing his Chelsea side reduced to nine men by two sendings off, thrashed 4-2 by Man City in an extraordinary game and being slammed by football's notorious bad boy Craig Bellamy over his behaviour. The Terry/Bridge confrontation certainly lived up to all the pre-match hype. It had been billed "Battle of the Bridge" because it was the first time the pair had met since it was revealed that Terry had bedded Vanessa Perroncel, the mother of Bridge's three-year-old son.
