An ultimate scientist/artist, da Vinci was much more than "the guy who did Mona Lisa and The Last Supper". The soundtrack is by Robert Schumann. | | Leonardo da Vinci Awards 2007 Toronto GTA Every year, Creativity & Innovation Day April 21 Worldwide (www.creativityday.org) recognizes and celebrates organizations that are using their creativity and innovation to help make the world a better place. Could it be his face?Radio carbon dating of the fabric of the shroud places it a while before Leonardo's birth so clearly in is a medieval fake as were many relicks. Leonardo wasn't stupid; if he were to try to fake it he would have used old cloth so the dating is consistent. The Mona Lisa certainly looks like Leonardo. Whether the face on the shroud is him - who knows? It seems to have some similarities. There is a statue of Leonardo I saw which looks rather spookily like the shroud.Who knows? We probaly never will but given the photographic qualities of the shroud and the fact that Leonardo was using camera obscura and showed interest in photosenstive chemicals while the transformed shroud resurfaced in a village near Leonardo's workshop at a time when he was at his height, it make's you think...Cruised into a bar on the shoreHer picture graced the grime on the doorShe a long lost love at first biteBaby maybe you're wrong, but you know it's all rightThat's rightBackstage we're having the timeOf our lives until somebody sayForgive me if I seem out of lineThen she whipped out her gunAnd tried to blow me awayDude looks like a ladySo never judge a book by it's coverOr who you're going to love by your loverLove put me wise to her love in disguiseShe had the body of a VenusLord imagine my surpriseDude looks like a ladyBaby let me follow you downLet me take a peek dearBaby let me follow you downDo me, do me, do me all nightBaby let me follow you downTurn the other cheek dearBaby let me follow you downDo me, do me, do me, do meOoh what a funky ladyShe like it, like it, like it, like that,Ooh he was a ladyDude looks like a lady Dude, dude, dude, dude looks like a lady Resurrection. The comment says that there are hidden meanings in the Da Vinci painting, true as he was into secret societies.2. The operation done by Mr. Pesce is simple but leads to interesting results. You need a program as Adobe Photoshop to do the following: load the image, duplicate it and mirror it. Now put the duplicate on the upper layer and change the visibility to 50% Here comes the best part: move the overimposed layer aside and then move it again while looking the man at the extreme left. It is stunning: the figure changes as a hat and the colors change. He seems to be a Templar. Then Pesci says that even Jesus color changes to red and a Grail appears, so the picture should *not* be the Last Supper but the Episode of Bread and Fishes.Hope you get what I wrote. I personally was impressed in the really moment when overimposing the left figure as itappears as a genius puzzle IMHOThe Grail and the baby hold by Magdalene do not seem too clear to me.Must add that these techiniques were well known to Mayan artists, as we can still appreciate in sculptures. You just need a good image and a graphic application that can load many layers to handle this - The GIMP is a free one for example." |
