Roger Clemens carried on extramarital affairs, including relationships with country singer Mindy McCready and Paulette Dean Daly, the ex-wife of golfer John Daly.
Mark Twain Gives an Interview (clip)
This is a twist on Hal Holbrook's classic interpretation of Mark Twain. In this portrayal, Holbrook/Twain responds in character to young people's questions. As always, Holbrook captures the great author's mannerisms and witty dialogue through excerpts from Twain's writings. I've been asked why I chose to approve comments instead of allow them freely. All I'm doing is filtering out comments that will lead to a religious/atheist debate. I'll allow just about anything else. The infamous disturbing scene from the 1985 claymation film The Adventures of Mark Twain, The Mysterious Stranger.Wonderful movie, go buy it.

Thoughts From Mark Twain
Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 -- April 21, 1910), better known by the pen name Mark Twain, was an American humorist, satirist, lecturer and writer. Twain is most noted for his novels Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which has since been called the Great American Novel and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. He is also known for his quotations. During his lifetime, Twain became a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists and European royalty.Twain enjoyed immense public popularity, and his keen wit and incisive satire earned him praise from both critics and peers. American authors William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway called Twain "the father of American literature."You are an integral and unique part of the universe. Just as important a part as any other part. There is no one else exactly like you. No one else has your fingerprints, your exact DNA, your exact thoughts or dreams. You are connected to everything and everything you do affects the rest of creation. Try to make the universe a better place.
