Dysart u.a.Inhalt:Nach einem Autounfall leidet der Computerspezialist Harry Benson (George Segal) unter Gedächtnisverlust und Aggressionsanfällen in denen er schon mehrfach Menschen angegriffen hat. Medikamente und Therapien konnten Harry's Anfälle nicht unter Kontrolle bringen, und so sieht er in einem neuartigen Verfahren, bei dem ein Mikrocomputer in Harry's Nacken eingepflanzt wird, die einzige Hoffnung. Die nachfolgenden Kontrolluntersuchungen sowie Harry's Zustand verlaufen zunächst positiv. Nach kurzer Zeit scheint sich Harry's zustand zu verschlimmern. Der Mikrocomputer löst immer häufiger Anfälle aus und Harry beginnt zu töten. Very clean and sterile.The narrative of the film (and the film itself) is slow with an meditative atmosphere over most scenes. |

 | Russian Roulette (1975) Title from spy movie with George Segal. Segal only made two spy movies in his career - The brilliant Quiller Memorandum and this. This is a very typical seventies movie - and here I am not sure I mean that positively. Filmed a bit differently and made more serious this could have been an excellent movie. It does have a nice rooftop ending that manages to be thrilling. |
