 | Doomsday Trailer In an apocalyptic vision of the future, authorities brutally quarantine Scotland as it succumbs to fear and chaos when a virus strikes. The literal walling-off works for three decades - until the dreaded Reaper virus violently resurfaces in London. An elite group of specialists, captained by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), is urgently dispatched into the still-quarantined country to retrieve a cure by any means necessary. Shut off from the rest of the world, the unit must battle through a landscape that has become a waking nightmare. Now, 27 years after the epidemic, groups of survivors are marauding through the streets of Glasgow and the virus has surfaced outside the wall. The British PM, John Hatcher (Alexander Siddig), and his ruthless chief advisor, Michael Canaris (David O'Hara), have decided to send a covert team into Scotland to search for a cure. On the recommendation of Chief of Police Bill Nelson (Bob Hoskins), Eden is a no-nonsense cop who was evacuated from Scotland as a child. She is told to seek out a scientist named Kane (Malcolm McDowell), who is the most likely survivor to possess the cure. Once within the containment zone, however, she finds that such a task will not be easily accomplished. There are two barbaric factions at war - one led by Kane and the other by his son, Sol (Craig Conway) - and both want Sinclair and her compatriots dead. |

 | Disney's A Christmas Carol Movie Trailer Jim Carrey, you are a busy, busy man. First you're a gay cop in Texas, and now you're Ebenezer Scrooge in the upcoming Disney revamping of A Christmas Carol, hitting theatres well, well ahead of Christmas, November 6th. Carrey plays not only Scrooge but also all three ghosts of Christmas in all the points of the space-time continuum in the classic story of a greedy Victorian miser who discovers, in true movie-cliche form, the true meaning of Christmas.  | Reenactment #38: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back [Request #3 of List #2] If this wasn't requested, I would have never done this one. Why? Because everyone else already has. Still, it was fun. And to those of you saying I had a bad attitude about doing this scene: I still did the best that I could; I wouldn't half-ass a scene for you. Sometimes, an actor doesn't necessarily enjoy the work he does. Bob Hoskins HATED doing Super Mario Bros., but it doesn't show in his performance, even if it was a shitty movie. Special thanks to my four-year-old nephew for letting me borrow his lightsabers and Darth Vader mask. More to come. |
