Near the end of the movie, where Derek and Danny are in a cafe on their way to Danny's school, police officers along with Dr. Sweeney pull Derek aside to tell him that Cameron and Seth have been attacked by the men seen at the end of this clip. Il film è diviso in tre episodi, ciascuno diretto da un regista diverso: L'obitorio è diretto da Tobe Hooper, La stazione di rifornimento è diretto da John Carpenter, mentre Hair venne diretto da Sulkis, che non era in attività da tempo, ma spacciato per una pellicola di Carpenter. L'ultimo episodio, Eye, è diretto da Hooper. Nel film figurano numerosi camei di registi famosi come Wes Craven, Sam Raimi o personalità di spicco del cinema horror come il truccatore Greg Nicotero.
