This first ep would seem to have some a' that "years in the polishing / here's our best bits" syndrome going for it , as it's deeply brilliant. Often a show settles into cranking them out weekly and the initial salvo isn't quite equaled. That's true here too , but not by too much.But bits like "What Do Women Want ? " , "The Barbie Bar" , and "Playing The Bassoon" belong on anybody's "100 Best Comedy Skits" list !(( and yes , as I said elsewhere on the channel here , the black framing is to crop the wretched flittery results of "over-scanning" that my Elura & iMovie get ( left \ right vertical edges as well ), yet my TV doesn't show . . . neither will my channel . . . well, anyMore ! )). . plus, I've uploaded these in "reverse-order", so the top a' the heap will be the 1st bits aired ! |
