Batman: The Dark Knight - "Why So Serious?!"
As a follow up to last year's blockbuster Batman Begins, Christopher Nolan is set to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' The Dark Knight, written by Jonathan Nolan, based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer. The film will be produced by Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan. Additionally, Christian Bale will resume his role as Bruce Wayne and Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger has been cast as The Joker. The announcements were made today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures. Christopher Nolan revamped the Batman franchise in 2005 with the immensely successful Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale in the title role, which chronicled the early years of the superhero. Nolan first garnered attention from critics and fans in 2000 with the groundbreaking drama Memento, which he wrote and directed. He went on to direct the thriller Insomnia, starring Al Pacino and Robin Williams, and recently wrapped production on The Prestige, with Hugh Jackman and Bale. Bale was most recently seen in the ensemble cast of Terrence Malick's The New World. His other credits include Little Women, Portrait of a Lady, Metroland, American Psycho, Laurel Canyon and Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun, which was his first starring role. Ledger most recently earned Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG Award nominations and won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ennis Del Mar in the award-winning drama Brokeback Mountain ...

heath ledger singing "cant take my eyes off you"
from the movie "10 things I hate about you" cant take my eyes off you (lyric) You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you. You'd be like Heaven to touch. I wanna hold you so much. At long last love has arrived And I thank God I'm alive. You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you. I love you, baby, And if it's quite alright, I need you, baby, To warm a lonely night. I love you, baby. Trust in me when I say: Oh, pretty baby, Don't bring me down, I pray. Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay And let me love you, baby. Let me love you.

Ledger was unresponsive when he was found by a housekeeper who had gone to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse in the Soho apartment, Browne said. The apartment is owned by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, The New York Times reported. Ledger was declared dead at about 3:30 pm, Browne said. Heath Ledger's Make-Up Pic For Joker Role!
To answer everyones question about "are those scars real??", What I meant by REAL is that the picture is real. It was an actual photo of Heath Ledger while they were putting make-up on him. I'm not trying to sound like people are leaving dumb comments or anything but the scars are just "MAKE-UP". Also, I'm not really sure where exactly I found the pic. I was gathering up some still pics of the movie for my other vid and I just so happened to find this pic. Sorry :-( Heath Ledger was a hell of an actor and he will be sadly missed by all!
The Joker: TRIBUTE TO HEATH LEDGER
HEATH LEDGER WINS ACADEMY AWARD FOR BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR FOR THE DARK KNIGHT. A fitting honor for his thrilling performance and the first anniversary of his death. All music is my own. To download a 'FREE' version of the music go to www.triplejunearthed.com Or Visit www.myspace.com/nosalvation This video is a tribute to Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker in the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight. After seeing the film last night (17th July Perth Australia Time) I must say that Heath Ledger as the Joker is without a doubt the greatest villian, and possibly the greatest character, ever to appear in cinema. It had my captivated from beginning to end. A definate choice for the Oscar. When it was announced that Heath Ledger would be cast as the Joker in 2006 I was very sceptical, like many others, if he was the right choice for the role. But when the first official image appeared on the internet in early 2007 all my doubts were blown away by the amazing and horrifying direction that they taking this iconic character, and probably the greatest villian in history. As more and more footage and voice snippets were released I was assured that Ledger had surely made this role his own. The tragic fact that he passed away shows the world has lost a truely dedicated and inventive actor. The animation at the end is not part of the tribute video, but I thought while I'm uploading a video why not include it. You may like it/ you may not. You don't have to watch it.
