 | Skyline GT-R Heaven: 2009 Nissan GT-R Ultimate Road Trip www.edmunds.com It's been a long time coming, but there's a white 2009 Nissan GT-R in the Inside Line Garage (we photographed it with our Ferrari to prove it). In fact, the keys are in my pocket as I type this. Forgive me if this is a short blog post, I'm itching to get on the road. Here's the deal. The car is a PT2 unit, as in pre-production. And it's right off of Nissan's Arizona proving grounds. Nissan engineer Bruce Robinson drove it west from that facility yesterday. According to him the car runs great but has a tendency to drool a little fuel down the side of the car when you fill it up. He also said we should invest in a case of octane booster. "We recommend 93, but it'll run on 91," he said. "I'd stop and get a few bottles." And we will. We officially leave Los Angeles for the Inside Line Ultimate GT-R Road Trip early tomorrow morning, so check back and follow along as we drive this all-wheel drive supercar 3000 miles in three days. First day's destination? Well, we plan on hitting the El Mirage drylake for some top end runs. Then we'll turn north and find our way to Sacramento Dragway for a Wednesday night of grudge match drag racing. We hope to get there about 5 pm. If you live in the area of the California capital city come on out. We'll even let you sit in the car while you tell us how much you love Inside Line.  | Vanilla Ice - Too Cold Robert Matthew Van Winkle (born October 31, 1967), best known as Vanilla Ice, is an American rapper known for the 1990 smash hit "Ice Ice Baby." One of the first white rappers to find mainstream success, Van Winkle's popularity was short lived. He has continued to make music, but has not recaptured the levels of fame he enjoyed earlier in his career. It was widely reported that Van Winkle had been threatened and assaulted by Death Row Records CEO, who forced Van Winkle to sign the publishing rights to him. Van Winkle stated that Knight took him "to the balcony and talked to me, but it's funny how the story gets turned around...I'm wondering how that story got changed around". In 1996, he appeared on the Bloodhound Gang track "Boom" under his real name, which led to a moderate revival in popularity, and thus the first new Vanilla Ice material in four years. SBK had signed him to a new deal, and Hard to Swallow was released in 1998 and produced by Ross Robinson, known for his work with bands such as Korn and Limp Bizkit. The album was radically different from Van Winkle's previous works, as it was centered around nu metal rather than hip hop. Guest artists on the album included Doug Ardito of Puddle of Mudd and Scott Borland. Though the record eventually went gold, it soon slipped from public consciousness. |

Went to Oak Hill Academy in high school and graduated from Middle Tennessee State. One of the first to hit 2 foot eastbays in games on the regular. Durden told me about this crazy dunker that just showed up in a beater at the Hot Sauce Killer Crossover Tour and put on a show. Had the sickest 2 hand windmill reverse I've ever seen in a dunk contest hands down. Silk aka Andre Poole; Silk is a streetball legend from Baltimore, MD. He has been in MTV's Who Got Game, YPA Players Ball, an And1. Has crazy handle and often makes it look like he is dribbling by himself, even with good defenders on him. Remember him from Who Got Game and heard about him being the nicest dude at the YPA Players Ball. 8th Wonder aka Antwan Scott; 8th graduated from Oak Hill Academy and then went on to play ball at Wake Forest. He then played overseas in Turkey before signing with And1. I remember him from the game against Duke where he dunked on Carlos Boozer and had a dunk down the lane and posterized a defender.
