 | "Who Gives a Damn About a Bunch of Dead Wrestlers?" A quick explanation about the title of the clip: I was inspired to cut this together after hearing someone comment on the TV coverage of the Benoit murder/suicide. They said, and I quote, "No one wants to hear about a bunch of dead fake wrestlers...people wanna hear news about real human beings." So with that in mind, I put this together. It's nothing fancy (nor was it intended to be). It tells the story that needed to be told very simply and very concisely. It's set to Ben Harper's "Ashes." For example, WWE used "Here without you", a song about a man and his girlfriend, to pay tribute to Eddie. "Remember" by Big Dismal is different, it actually fits pretty well to a relationship between wrestlers and fans who were inspired by them. Of course, I do NOT hear their voices whenever I'm awake, and they did not literally kept me save inside their arms, but many statements can be interpreted in a way that matches pretty well.
