 | The American Civil War:Tribute to Jefferson Davis and Gen.William J. Bush This video was made here in my home County of Irwin County, Georgia. The video consists of our Confederate Tribute to the Confederate Soldier, President of The CSA Jefferson Davis, whom was captured by the 4th Calvary of Michigan at Irwinville, Georgia, 10 miles from my location. The video also includes in memorial General William Joshua Bush of Co. B 14th Regiment of Georgia. Gen. Bush was involved in the Battle of Atlanta and other skirmishs and was captured in his Regiments attempt to stop Sherman's March to The Sea. He is the Great Great Uncle to my son on his mother's side. He died at the age of 107 years-old. His Gravesite is located in Evergreen Cemetary in Fitzgerald, Georgia 10 miles from my location with Historical Marker #23. |
