More recently, the company has been involved with helping to develop the interior of Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic privateer spacecraft and a hydrogen-powered motorcycle.He is holder of the D&AD Presidents Award for Outstanding Contribution to Design and recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from the Centre for Creative Studies, Michigan. He is a Senior Fellow of the Royal College of Art and was voted (with Dick Powell) 6th Most Important Shaker and Mover in British Culture 2004 by the BBC.He is a visiting professor at Coventry. |
