 | Straight Time - "The Parole Officer" Parolee Max Dembo (Dustin Hoffman) gets off on the wrong foot with his parole officer Earl Frank (M. Emmet Walsh) in Ulu Grosbard's 1978 gritty film about the hopelessness of a career criminal trying to make it in the real world. Based upon career criminal Edward Bunker's novel No Beast So Fierce." the screenplay credits include Bunker, Jeffrey Boam Alvin Sargent (story) and Nancy Dowd and Michael Mann as uncredited writers. Supposedly Michael Mann's 1995 crime movie "Heat" was strongly influenced by Bunker's book. This simple, but right on the money scene is an example of Hoffman's and Walsh's ability to portray incredibly real people dealing with real life issues. | | Red Scorpion (1989) Final Battle Scene Part 2 This is from the movie Red Scorpion with Dolph Lundgren starring in it. This scene actually reminds much from the Commando(1985) movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger but this might not be so good as it but i think this is still watchable. ;D | | Blade Runner: Paranoid Android ( Radiohead ) Scenes from Blade Runner.Music by Radiohead.----------------------My homage to Ridley Scott's classic-epic movie based upon Philip K. Emmet Walsh-William Sanderson-Joanna Cassidy | | Straight Time - "Busted" Parole Officer Earl Frank (M. Emmet Walsh) checks up on parolee Max Dembo (Dustin Hoffman) in director Ulu Grosbard's 1978 adaptation of Edward Bunker's gritty book about a career criminal struggling with his release from prison. M. Emmet Walsh, one of Hollywood's greatest character actors demonstrates his skill as the creepy, get under your skin parole officer. He received a great deal of recognition for this role, then really made a name for himself with roles in Brubaker (1980), Reds (1981), and as Harrison Ford's boss in Blade Runner (1982) and in the Coen brothers' first movie, Blood Simple. (1984). At one point, critic Roger Ebert coined a phrase, "The Stanton-Walsh Rule", which meant that any movie with Harry Dean Stanton of M. Emmet Walsh had to have some merit. Ebert rescinded the rule, after seeing Wild Wild West (1999). Walsh continues to be one of the most prolific actors in the business now having accumulated almost 200 television and movie credits. | | HAUNTED ECHOES Trailer After suffering the loss of their ten-year-old daughter under mysterious and horrifying circumstances, Guy and Laura Dykstra determine to start life afresh. But None Of That Matters Now. It Is Widely Considered One Of The Greatest Sc-Fi Movies Ever Made If Not The Greatest. Years Have Passed,And It Has Finally Gained The Respect It Deserves. Blade Runner Is A Film You Must Watch Twice To Begin To Understand It's Subtle Nuances,And Wonderfully Hidden Story. I Was Not A Fan The First Time I Saw It..The Second Time Was Different Story. There Are People Out There That Think This Movie Is Either Overrated Or It Sucks. I Don't Know Who They Are,But Everyone's Entitled To Their Opinion.
