 | Redbelt - ab 18. September 2008 im Kino Mike Terry (CHIWETEL EJIOFOR), ein Jiu-Jitsu-Lehrer, der nach einem strengen Samurai-Kodex lebt, hat schon seit langem der rauen Welt der Preiskämpfe den Rücken gekehrt. Er versucht sich, zusammen mit seiner Frau Sondra (ALICE BRAGA), ein ehrenwertes Leben mit einer Jiu-Jitsu Schule in Los Angeles West-Side aufzubauen. Doch obwohl die Schule einen guten Ruf genießt, haben Mike und Sondra jeden Monat mit finanziellen Problemen zu kämpfen. Ein plötzlicher Zwischenfall in einer regnerischen Nacht bringt eine Reihe von Vorfällen ins Rollen, die Terrys Leben dramatisch verändern ...  | EDMOND trailer - music by rich ragsdale this is the trailer for the film edmond directed by stuart gordon and written by david mamet it stars william h. macy, julia stiles, jeffery combs and denise richards- my brother and partner, kevin ragsdale, was a producer on it anyways - i wrote all the source music for this movie (including a really nice acapella gospel tune that my friends in spiralmouth performed it turned out so well stuart used it as the end credits music as well) as well as all the music in the trailer (most of the trailer music was originally composed for another film called THE NICKEL CHILDREN) the music in the trailer is very "post rock" ish like godspeed you black emperor or silver mount zion or something (the music in edmond is NOT like that at all though!) this movie is great - check it out if you get a chance hope you dig it! |
