 | Warriors The Warriors is a 1979 film directed by Walter Hill and based on the 1965 novel by Sol Yurick.SynopsisCyrus (Roger Hill), the powerful gang leader of the Gramercy Riffs, calls a midnight summit for all the New York City area gangs, with all gangs asked to send nine unarmed representatives for the conclave. The Warriors, a gang based in Coney Island, Brooklyn, is one such gang. The eloquent and intelligent Cyrus tells the assembled gangs that a citywide truce is needed, and that the gangs can unite to control the city and capitalize on the dwindling power of the NYPD. The gangs cheer Cyrus' ideas, but during the speech, a nearby man pulls out a gun and kills Cyrus. Panic ensues. The murderer - revealed to be Luther (David Patrick Kelly), head of the Rogues gang - screams that the Warriors are responsible for killing Cyrus. While the Riffs beat Cleon (Dorsey Wright), the leader of the Warriors, and the police arrive to break up the gathering, the other eight Warriors escape the melee and debate what to do. The Warriors now have a bounty on their heads, and the entire city's gang population is out hunting for them. The Warriors begin their long journey from the Bronx back to Coney Island; the second-in command, Swan (Michael Beck), is now in charge, though the hot-headed Ajax (James Remar) openly voices his desire to be acting gang warlord. The Warriors slowly cross the dangerous Bronx and Manhattan territory, narrowly escaping police and other gangs every step of the way. In the Bronx, they pick up Mercy, a fiesty girl who quickly becomes attracted to Swan. When the Warriors get separated from one another in Manhattan, three Warriors are seduced by members of a female gang called the Lizzies. Back at the Lizzies' apartment, the women draw weapons to kill the Warriors, but the men narrowly escape again. During the night, gang member Fox is killed in a scuffle with police, while Ajax is arrested by an undercover police officer and taken to jail.Meanwhile, the Gramercy Riffs are visited by a gang member who was at the conclave - the only witness to Luther firing the gun. The Riffs realize the Warriors are innocent, and they head to Coney Island. When day breaks, the Warriors finally return home, but quickly have more trouble, as Luther and the Rogues are waiting for them. The two gangs meet on the beach, where Swan suggests he and Luther fight in a one-on-one duel. Luther pulls a gun, but Swan quickly throws a knife into Luther's wrist, disarming him. Before more violence has a chance to happen, the Riffs mass on the beach and acknowledge they have learned the truth of Cyrus' murder. The Riffs' new leader compliments the remaining Warriors and lets them go. As the Riffs swarm on the Rogues, the Warriors head off down the shore.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warriors_%28film%29 | | Commando: Sully's Story An alternate trailer for "Commando." | | Sullys Ten Steps for Seducing Women Sully from Commando gives you the low down on scoring with hot chicks | | GOVERNATOR in "PULP COMIC" This is a short clip from 1985 movei called Commando, where Arnold Schwarzenegger,s(John Matrix) drops, David Patrick Kelly(Sully) from what looks like Mulholland Drive around Los Angeles area then together with Rae Dawn Chong (Cindy) drives Sully's car away...So I decided to make a Pulp fiction/ comic book style (Pulp Comic) sketch out of it, partly for fun and partly to illustrate how many one-liners can fit in such a short clip.Just imagine watching the whole movie ... by the way it's a fun movie if you accept it for what it is...Ps "I'll be back!" was first used in this move before The Terminator! I think? And of course I added a touch of Kraftwerk (the greatest ever) music to the clip ...just to spice it up a bit Gaus ------------------------------------ Where's she Sully? Kiss my ass! I can't hear you!I am goanna say a little louder You Get fucked!Listen no one I mean is going to touch her!But it is not the most important thing in your life right nowBut what is important is Gravity I have to remind you sully This is the week arm Ahhhhh!!!!If you kill me matrixYou need me to find your daughter! Were is sheI don't know But Cook knows ... I take you where I suppose to meet himBut you won't!Why not?Cause I already know!Remember Sully when I promised to kill you last...That's what made you...You did!I lied! Oh wahhhh!!!!Now you have no car!"Matrix walks across Mulholland Drive... towards Sully"s Porsche... " Now I do!What did you do with Sully?I let him go!Eeeeeeee!!!!GRRRRRRRRR!!!! | | The Warriors (A must see movie) Its Official: The Warriors one of my favorites of all time!!!After seeing the announcements promoting the videogame, I knew I had to see that movie. The thing that caught myattention is when that guy Luther's vocie when he is calling out the warriors: "Warriors come out and pla-y-aayyy!!!"I Thought it would be an average B movie, little did I imagine that it was going to be one of the best movies I have seen... and believe me I have seen many. The plot outline is very simple, gangs across NY City are called into a meeting to unite all gangs by the ruling gangs leader, Cyrus (and NY is a big city so Imagine how many gangs \showed up!!) While, at the meeting, Cyrus is shot, and with all the raucous going on, the shooter goes on unnoticed,The ones responsable, The Rogues, in turn blame another gang of killing Cyrus, the Warriors. All blame now falls on the warriorswho have to travel all the way from Bronx (where the meeting to place) to Coney Island, (their Hometown) But withevery gang in New York on their tail looking to revenge Cyrus's death, they will have a rough time getting home to say the least. Thats the plot, simple yet very interesting. After seeing many movies about gangs from the '80s, with a lot of potential left unexplored, such as the Outsiders, and Bad Boys, I thought the warriors would be nodifferent: a good B level movie. I could not have been more wrong. The Warriors is one of those movies thatif you dont have it you should go right now and buy it, its that good!!! Unless you dont like fighting, or violent movies, its a must have. I dont know how is it possible I missed it for all this time. The actors are all amazing in each of their roles respectively, I hadnt seen a movie where all the actors seem to fit perfect for their rolessince City Of God, its like they were born just to play that part. Especially powerfull were the roles ofMichael Beck (Swan), James Remar (ajax) and David Patrick kelly (Luther from the Rogues) The movie has a comic book feel done on purpose by the Director Walter Hill. The result is movie magic, What I like more is that the movieleaves some areas unexplored, but unlike the other old gang movies I mentioned, it leaves just the right areas, leaving the rest up to your imagination. Young people are especially apt to like this movie due to its violence, but please I urge anyone who sees this movie, to remember its just a movie. Enjoy it but dont try reenacting it by way of violence. It doesnt surprise me to learn that they are making a remake of this movie, after all the videogame just came out ayear ago!! my only hope is that they can find that movie magic, they found with this 1979 release. I am optimisticabout the movie, with Walter Hill helping in the movie, but only time will tell if it pays of. I give this movie a 10 out of 10 PS. If you want to buy this movie I sell it for a very low price (keep in mind that I only sell originals... I dont sell pirate copies... piracy besides being illegal is hurting the creative arts in the long run.... email me or comment me here for more information, I also have many more titles so be sure you ask me for a movie if you want one in particular, also be sure you suscribe to my videos as I am just getting started on videos I will be posting, check out the others video I got now to find what i mean! | | Sequence from The Warriors An amusingly edited sequence from Walter Hill's "The Warriors," in which Michael Beck as Swan throws a knife into David Patrick Kelly as Luther's arm. | | The Warriors - Come out to play... fast and slow!! I bet some of you may have seen the famous scene from the film "The Warriors" where Luther (played by David Patrick Kelly), leader of the Rogues clangs 3 beer bottles on his fingers whilst chanting "Warriors... come out to plaaaaaaay" to try and lure the warriors out of their hiding place... well I decided to put this part on Windows Movie Maker and find out what happens if I made it go fast and slow! :PLuther sounds like he's inhaled helium and gone hyper in the fast version, and in the slow version he sounds like a demon! lol :PEnjoy!! :D | | Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990) Theatrical Trailer "To some he's the world's greatest detective.
