A host of big names including Uma Thurman and Pierce Brosnan brings us the classical story with a modern twist. The titular Percy discovers that he's descended from the gods themselves, and as should probably be expected from this discovery, he'll be charged with a quest--head out in an effort to settle a long-term ongoing battle against the various factions of the Olympians. Check out the trailer! Considering that it's from a former Harry Potter director, we can probably expect something similar to go on with this. But can you wrap your head around a big-budget Potter clone with delusions of godlike grandeur, or is it asking entirely too much of your suspension of disbelief?
