 | Princess of Thieves -- Part 1 Keira Knightley stars in this made-for-TV Disney adventure that puts a spin on an often-told story. The film picks up years after the "known" events of the Robin Hood legend, centering on Robin's daughter, Gwyn, played by Knightley. As Maid Marian has died and Robin Hood (Stuart Wilson) is perpetually away battling in the Crusades, Gwyn has lived much of her life alone. She has grown up to be a strong-willed young woman with a talent for archery, much like her father. Her only friend is the sweet but plain Froderick (Del Synnott), who clearly is in love with her. Upon the death of Richard the Lionhearted, Robin returns to see that the proper man takes Richard's place as king of England. However, Robin is quickly foiled and imprisoned by the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham (Malcolm McDowell) and Prince John (Jonathan Hyde). It is then up to Gwyn to save the day. She must complete Robin's mission to find and protect the young Prince Philip (Stephen Moyer), who has just returned from exile in France to claim the throne ? not an easy task since he has decided to forsake his true identity and is traveling anonymously under his valet's name (who died en-route protecting his prince). Though she does fortuitously cross paths with the prince, she is not aware of his identity for much of the film.  | LLUVIA - LUIS ANGEL (VIDEO CLIP) LLUVIA ¡LO NUEVO DE LUIS ANGEL! Para finales de Febrero en Hollywood, California se llevó a cabo la filmación del video de la canción Lluvia de Luis Angel. Esta canción que ha sido desde 1981 una de las canciones más populares escritas por el canta-autor argentino, nunca se le había grabado un video en esta versión de balada. La dirección del video estuvo a cargo de Stuart Altman, quién muy entusiasmado realizó esta filmación a sabiendas del compromiso que conlleva crear un video, para una canción que yá ha sido éxito en los mercados internacionales por los últimos 27 años, e interpretada por grandes artístas de fama internacional. Lisa Wilson fue la productora de este maravilloso trabajo fílmico. En la parte actoral colaboraron la actriz y canta-autora Roberta Renaud, quién hizo el papel de la mujer pretendida por Luis Angel, y Alex Valente, quién hiciera el papel del galán que también se enamora y se queda con la bella Roberta. Con un excelente grupo de profesionales se trabajó arduamente en locaciones designadas por Altman, en Hollywood, California, lográndo así un trabajo de óptima calidad. Luis Angel se siente muy feliz, ya que nunca había tenido la posibilidad de llevarle a sus fans esta canción en video. El lanzamiento se realizará para los primeros días del mes de Julio conjuntamente con el cd Historias de una Vida el cual contiene los grandes éxitos del canta-autor. |

 | Clann An Drumma - Culloden (Scottish tribal drumming and bagpipes) Clann An Drumma, Scots Gaelic for "Children of the Drum" is a tribal band from Glasgow, Scotland. Clann An Drumma was formed by Joe Kilna MacKenzie, Jacquie Holland and Tu-Bardh Stormcrow Wilson among others. Like many other bands, their line-up has changed over the years. Their music involves heavy use of percussion (namely traditional Scottish drums) and Highland bagpipes with an emphasis on the more traditional "tribal" sounds of ancient Scotland. The band's motto is "Keep it Tribal". One of their more well-known pieces is "Sgt. MacKenzie". It was composed by Joe MacKenzie in memory of his great grandfather, Charles Stuart MacKenzie, who died in battle during World War I. "Sgt. MacKenzie" is perhaps a departure from their normal style, as its drumming and piping are subdued and it is primarily a vocal piece. It was featured in the soundtrack to the 2002 film, We Were Soldiers. To date the band has released a total of seven albums. Joe Kilna MacKenzie died after a long illness, on 28 April 2009. |
