The DVD recording of this performance was then featured on the Bee Gees album "Number Ones", which was a tribute album to Maurice Gibb, one of the Bee Gees, who died in 2003. Woman In Love - Written by Barry and Robin Gibb (1979). "Guilty" was the only song for Barbra credited to Barry, Robin and Maurice. The demo however sounds like the others, and since Barry sings it in falsetto throughout he had probably not yet decided to make it a duet. This demos were carefully made, with Barry overdubbing two guitars and two vocal tracks at times. Barbra's final vocals followed these models closely. Maurice may be playing the second guitar and singing the harmonies in original. Barry and Maurice had done country songs in 1969 and afterwards, and Conway Twitty had had a country number 1 in 1981 with Barry's "Rest Your Love on Me". As recorded by Kenny with Dolly Parton, it sounds so authentically Nashville that people find it hard to believe it is The Bee Gees song. When they first wrote the chorus the brothers conceived it as a rhythm and blues ballad a la Smokey Robinson, but it evolved easily into a country number. As of this demo it was still not planned to be a duet, so it does not change key going into the second verse. This again seems to have both Robin and Maurice on backup vocals. |

That's my way to show my respect and admiration for Andrew Roy Gibb, or Andy Gibb, the youngest of the Brothers Gibb. His older and famous brothers are the Bee Gees, Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. He was born on March 5th, 1958 and he died on March 10th, 1988 due to a serious damage in his heart muscle. He was only 30 years old. I made all two songs in background of this video. The first song is named: FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU (Andy Gibb) and the second song is my own composition (Norton Mello) named: I CAN SEE YOUR FACE IN THE SKY.
