Werker as director. The film, shot in semidocumentary tone, was loosely based on newspaper accounts of the real-life actions of Erwin "Machine-Gun" Walker, a former Glendale police department employee and World War II veteran who unleashed a crime spree of burglaries, robberies, and shootouts in the Los Angeles area during 1945 and 1946. During production, one of the actors, Jack Webb, struck up a friendship with the police technical advisor, Detective Sergeant Marty Wynn, and was inspired by a conversation with Wynn to create the radio and later television program Dragnet. On a Los Angeles street, Officer Hollis, a patrolman on his way home from work, stops a man he suspects of being a burglar and is shot and mortally wounded. The minor clues lead nowhere. Two police detectives, Sergeants Marty Brennan (Brady) and Chuck Jones (Cardwell), are assigned to catch the killer, Roy Morgan (Basehart), a brilliant mystery man with no known criminal past, who is hiding in a Hollywood bungalow and listening to police calls on his custom radio in an attempt to avoid capture. In Breaking Dawn, these are the the oldest vampires in the world. Senna and Zafrina will be played by Tracey Heggins and Judi Shekoni respectively. These characters are long-standing allies of the Cullens, but they do drink human blood and don't try to pretend to be humans. Then there's the Egyptian coven, which includes Amun, who will be played by Omar Metwally, Kebi who will be played by Andrea Gabriel, Benjamin, who will be played by Rami Malak and lastly, Tia, who will be played by Angela Sarafyan. Amun is the leader of this coven, and they, like the Cullens, act as a family despite the fact they are not actually related. Also, it's important to note that Amun is somewhat fearful of Aro.  | Nike Academy - First Match Highlights The Nike Academy players just stepped-up to their toughest test yet a competitive match against Brighton & Hove Albions Academy team. All of their specialist training would now be put into action. Could they gel as a team? Would their physical and mental preparation be enough to challenge a squad of players with professional contracts in their hands? This was the perfect chance to put themselves in the shop window, they had to shine. As the game got underway the pressure got hot. Within the first 20 minutes the Academy found themselves two goals down crumbling point for some but quit is a dirty word at the Nike Academy. The Academy kept their cool and quickly fought back with two well-taken chances from Sam Lechmere and Captain, Lee Brennan. In the second half, Kieran Forbes rose well and stormed home a well-placed header to give Nike Academy a 2-3 lead. The match ended 3-3 and our trainees proved they can bear their teeth when it counts. Now theyve had a taste of whats required, its time to see whos really hungry |
 | Nike Academy - Take on Forest and triumph The Nike Academy's latest challenge was a tough match-up against Nottingham Forests U17 squad. The players were ready but the proof would be on the pitch. And with the recent Brighton draw still fresh in their mind nothing less than a win would satisfy. From the start it was clear the Academy were hungry, applying pressure and forcing their way into Forests area. A deadly combination of clever touches and inspired teamwork, gave the boys a 4-0 lead going into half time, with David Knight, Lee Brennan and Kyle Fraser-Allen getting on the scoresheet. Forest fought back in the second half to make it 4-1, but an impressive long-range effort from Dubi Ogbonna put the game out of reach and gave the Academy a well earned 5-1 victory.
