Pope Benedict XVI sent a telegram of condolence, which was read out at the start of the service. He said Pavarotti had "honored the divine gift of music through his extraordinary interpretative talent." Thousands of people watched the invitation-only service from a huge television screen erected in Modena's main piazza, where a recording of the tenor's most famous works boomed out during two days of public viewing. En el anho 2000, a raiz de la publicacion del segundo album 'Entre vareta y canasta', el cantaor Juanito Valderrama anuncia a Dieguito como una de las voces con mas futuro. Y no se equivoco. Un anho despues vuelve a grabar y lanza el disco 'Corren tiempos de alegria', en el que colabora un artista que va a marcar su carrera a partir de entonces: Bebo Valdes. However, to those who can't seem to say nice things, singing opera is not a competition. Pavarotti, Jussi Bjorling and Mario Lanza did not all sing this song to compete. It is not a crime to enjoy all 3 of the singers. Please do not complain that you don't like it because "Pavarotti is better" or something. I love Pavarotti's La Donna e Mobile, I love Jussi's Pearl Fishers Duet, I love Mario Lanza's Chi Mi Frena In Tal Momento... All three are amazing singers. You can like all of them. I didn't make this video though, I found it and decided to spread the joy of his amazing voice to those who have not heard it. Also I wanted this to be on the video response of the Ultimate Nessun Dorma video since Mario Lanza was, unfortunately, not included in that video.
