RIP JOHN RITTER (he played Paul Hennessy) | | Tex Ritter--The Deck Of Cards This is a great song by the late Tex Ritter. (January 12, 1905 January 2, 1974) In 1948, "Rye Whiskey" and his cover of "The Deck of Cards" both made the top ten. Ritter was married to actress Dorothy Fay from June 14, 1941, until his death. The couple had two sons, Thomas Ritter and television actor John Ritter. Ritter was married to actress Dorothy Fay from June 14, 1941, until his death. Ritter had his last recording session for Capitol Records in 1973. His last song, "The Americans," became a posthumous hit shortly after his death. In 1974, he had a heart attack and died in Nashville. | | John Ritter - Rest in Peace John Ritter is a very famous American actor whose main role was Paul in the hit comedy '8 Simple Rules'. This music video is a tribute designed by me in memory of John Ritter, as he sadly died of a heart attack on set of an episode. The programme continued, with John's character also suddenly dying in the programme, and this photo gallery tribute is here today to show that our thoughts are with John Ritter and Ritter's family as well as to support the show for such a great send-off. Please do not leave chain mail comments - I will delete them as they aren't really appropriate for this video. | | Cubby Bernstein - Xanadu - Episode Seven, Part 2 Xanadu's Tony campaign manager Cubby Bernstein invites Cynthia Nixon to work with the cast on an important Cubby Step four days before the Tony Awards. Parton also touches base with seven orphaned young'uns...and a witch (Anita Morris). John Ritter makes an uncredited cameo appearance as the judge who presides over the inevitable climactic adoption proceedings.
