Gemeinsam mit seinen 8 Männern wird er in Frankreich abgesetzt, um dort unterzutauchen und in Guerilla-Einsätzen Nazis zu jagen und töten. Als der Plan reift, die Anführer des Dritten Reichs auszuschalten, nimmt Raines Einheit Kontakt zu der deutschen Schauspielerin und Undercover-Agentin des Widerstands Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) auf, die entscheidend für das Gelingen des Anschlags ist. In the 3D adaptation, evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village and they tumble from their magical world into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
